With a degree in electrical engineering from the École de technologie supérieure, I have over 20 years' experience in the engineering field. Over the course of my career, I've held a variety of positions, from electrical engineer to customer project manager to building and data center manager. This diversity of roles has enabled me to explore different facets of engineering, on both the customer and consulting engineering sides. My career path has led me to work in a variety of sectors, including petrochemicals and pharmaceuticals.
Since 2019, as Managing Director of Strana, I have been in charge of customer relations, business development and all company operations. Thanks to my versatility and experience, I have successfully navigated between engineering and human resources, while overseeing Strana's outsourced engineering teams at our customers' sites. I stand out for my excellent listening and communication skills. Thanks to my ability to quickly identify the needs and requirements of the various positions we recruit, I greatly facilitate the work of our customers and my team. My proactive approach and in-depth understanding of expectations and business sectors enable me to find the best talent, ensuring the success of every recruitment.
I've always been passionate about people. As soon as I completed my bachelor's degree in career guidance and human resources at the Université du Québec à Montréal, I had the opportunity to join a world leader in recruitment, where I acquired solid expertise over a period of 17 years. I have recruited in all sectors of activity, and have gained valuable experience in all facets of recruitment work. As Assistant Director, I was also responsible for the largest strategic industrial client account in Quebec.

After completing a Bachelor's degree in Career Development at UQAM and an internship in recruitment, my interest in people and recruitment led me to pursue my academic training and complete a certificate in Human Resources Management. The first two years of my career were spent as a recruiter for an international placement agency. I then worked in the financial sector for over 11 years, responsible for the mass hiring of call center employees.
With over 15 years' experience behind me, I'm an experienced recruitment consultant who's always on the lookout for hidden talent. For 3 years now, I've been happy to be part of the passionate Strana Talent team, where I mainly handle recruitment outside Quebec.

In order to obtain my bachelor's degree, I had the opportunity to complete an internship at Strana, an enriching experience that enabled me to acquire practical skills and integrate into the team, enabling me to actively contribute to its projects. This immersion gave me a valuable insight into the work dynamics and challenges specific to our field.

With a degree in mechanical engineering from the École Polytechnique de Montréal, I spent nearly 25 years working in multinational factories, where I held a wide variety of management positions in engineering, maintenance, operations management, accounting and finance.
I then put my experience to good use in various SMEs as General Manager and consultant, which gave me a good understanding of the reality of SMEs, which is different from that of large multinationals. These experiences also gave me responsibility for increasing sales, expanding certain distribution networks in the U.S. and gaining a complete overview of all company functions.
I've been with GCM Corpo and its subsidiaries for 13 years. I have had the wonderful opportunity to hold the positions of President and CEO and VP Corporate Development.
I have also sat on various internal and external Boards of Directors.
I contributed to the founding of STRANA Talent in 2019 and accompanied this fine company as Chairman of the Board.
I'm a people person, dynamic, passionate and a good listener, which fits in very well with STRANA's team and mission.
Now in early retirement, I'm devoting part of my time to helping Strana become a key player in industrial recruitment in Canada.
