Main responsibilities:
- Design and engineering of new water treatment processes.
- Upgrading of water treatment processes.
- Analysis of problems and search for solutions.
- Support for the improvement of industrial water management.
- Pre-feasibility and feasibility studies for industrial water treatment systems in various fields (agri-food, mining, light industry, forestry, etc.).
- Drafting of technical reports and documents to be submitted to various ministries.
- Support to the operation.
- Characterization of water quality in plant.
- Ensuring that budgets and schedules are respected.
- Drafting of service offers.
- Follow-up with departmental authorities for the validation of environmental requirements related to projects.
- Participate in dynamic and innovative multidisciplinary team reviews.
- Perform any task related to the role.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering related to water treatment or equivalent.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in the field of water treatment.
- Spoken and written languages: French and English.
Assets:
- In-depth knowledge of biological water treatment.
- Experience in water treatment in the industrial and/or mining sector.
- Experience in water treatment unit simulation (GPS-X, BioWin, Aspen HYSYS).
- Experience in water quality and water balance modeling (PHREEQC, GoldSim).
- Knowledge of provincial and federal environmental regulations.
