Responsibilities:
- Perform and supervise GHG quantification reports.
- Accompany our industrial clients in their search for relevant subsidies for the realization of their decarbonization projects.
- Support our clients in identifying measures and techniques to limit carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gas emissions.
- Develop and improve our tools for calculating the various approaches to GHG reduction.
- Support our clients in the environmental permitting process.
- Manage projects (proposals, budget monitoring, team member training, billing).
- Conduct business development with clients to offer tailored solutions to their sustainable development and GHG reduction initiatives.
- Support our clients in their sustainable development initiatives.
- Define the human resources and training needs in the discipline, and plan in accordance with the budget.
- Responsible for the manning of the team.
- Promote collaboration with other GCM disciplines.
- Act as technical advisor to support the team in the execution of mandates.
- Technological intelligence and regulatory watch (e.g., carbon market, SPEDE, RDOCECA and federal declarations).
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering or relevant field
- 7 to 10 years of experience in project management in sustainable development, GHG reduction and project financing
Assets:
- Resourcefulness with a dynamic and positive attitude
- Air quality expertise
- Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec
- Spoken and written languages: French and English
- Relevant experience in these industries: refining, chemical, petrochemical, metallurgical, mining, manufacturing
