What is GCM?

Daily tasks include:

  • Participating in kick-off meetings and issuing the minutes of meetings.
  • Managing purchase orders.
  • Analyzing the indicators given by suppliers to detect any deviations.
  • Managing delivery times and coordinating supplier documents.
  • Interfacing with suppliers, engineering firms and clients.
  • Managing deliveries.


  • College degree or training in procurement or administration.
  • At least five (5) years of relevant experience in a similar purchasing position.
  • Practical knowledge of the legal and commercial aspects of procurement.
  • Knowledge of procurement terms and conditions (Incoterms) and of relevant laws.
  • Excellent knowledge of French and English (spoken and written).
  • Mobility as required to visit suppliers.


  • Knowledge of industrial environments (petrochemical, mining and metals, etc.).
  • Experience in procurement management.
  • Professional association: AGCA, PMI.
