Our client is seeking for a dynamic and motivated Parts Sales Representative to join our team. This role involves building strong relationships with customers, providing expert advice on agricultural equipment parts, and driving sales to meet company goals. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, technical knowledge of agricultural machinery, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
The territory allocated is 80% in Quebec, Ontario and the Maritimes and 20% in Western Canada.
On a daily basis you will have to:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships within the existing dealer partners.
- Promote and sell a wide range of equipment parts, meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Provide knowledgeable advice on parts compatibility, usage, and maintenance for various machinery.
- Regularly travel within the assigned territory to meet with customers, understand their needs, and offer tailored solutions.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth.
- Prepare regular sales reports and update the management team on progress and challenges.
- Represent the company at agricultural trade shows, expos, and customer events to build brand awareness.
Requirements:
- Degree in Business, Agriculture, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in the agricultural or heavy equipment industry.
- Strong understanding of agricultural machinery and their parts.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Proficient in using reporting tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
- A keen sense of resourcefulness Fluency in French and English required since the person will collaborate with clients outside of Quebec, both written and oral.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory (up to 75% of the time).
