Who is GCM?

On a daily basis you will have to:

• Lead / participate in electrical projects
• Lead / participate in multidisciplinary projects
• Production of engineer works , sign and seal.
• Design of electrical systems, mainly in heavy industry.
• Perform technical studies:

• Load flow
• Protective coordination
• Arc flash

• Prepare calculation notes, write specifications and technical reports
• Prepare designs and specifications related to the following items:
• 120 V, 600 V, 4.16 kV, 25 kV power distribution
• Power supply of various motor loads
• Heating cables
• Power generators
• Lighting
• Grounding
• Prepare engineering proposals, and estimates Client relations

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Electrical Engineering
• Member of the Professional order of Engineers of the province (APEGS)
• Minimum 3-10 years of experience in heavy industry/plant

You are the one we are looking for if you have:

• Good knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code
• Experience in consulting engineering and/or heavy industry
• Teamwork and Communication skills
• Experience in medium and/or high voltage (asset)
• Experience in building systems design (asset)
• Experience in and hazardous locations (asset)
• English required, French (Asset)
