What is GCM?

On a daily basis you will have to:
- Model steel and concrete structures in a 3D environment
- Prepare plan views, elevations, steel sections and details as well as steel and concrete structures.
- Perform surveys and site visits.
- Review shop drawings.
- Coordinate with drafters/designers from other departments on multidisciplinary projects.
- Manage space in 3D models.
- In collaboration with the engineering team, contribute to the development of structural concepts to meet the challenges of each project.
- Coordinate the work with the structural engineers.
Requirements:
- DEP in industrial drafting or DEC in Civil Engineering Technology, or equivalent.
- Relevant experience in the field.
- 1 to 5 years of experience.
You are the one we are looking for if you have:
- Knowledge of at least one 2D software: AutoCAD, Advance Steel and/or Revit (mastering all three would be an asset).
- Knowledge of at least one 3D software: ProSteel, Revit or Advance Steel (mastering all three would be an asset).
- Excellent ability to work in a team and good organizational skills.
- French and English: spoken and written) – asset.
- ASP Construction certification – asset.
- Relevant experience in industrial projects petrochemical, industrial and mining – asset.
- Relevant experience in multidisciplinary projects – asset.
- Knowledge of BIM management – asset.
