Job Summary:

The candidate will work in collaboration with the document control team of our client's engineering department, a Montreal refinery. He/she will perform all tasks related to the transmission, compliance and archiving of project documents, according to the engineering processes put in place.

 

On a daily basis you will have to:

  • Controlling and issuing technical documents from the engineering department.
  • Archiving technical documentation in Documentum (electronic document management software).
  • Respond to various user requests (engineering customers).
  • Participate in the implementation of documentation management tools.
  • Entering data into the various software packages.
  • Performing all other related tasks.

 

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of engineering document management.
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience (experience in a technical/industrial environment, consulting engineering firm, petrochemical industry, construction companies an asset).
  • Comfortable working in a computerized environment.
  • Demonstrate an excellent knowledge of spoken and written French and English.
  • Training in documentation (an asset).

Working conditions:

  • Permanent outsourcing position at our client's refinery in the east end of Montreal.
  • Possibility of doing hybrid work: 2 days telecommuting and 3 days in the office.
  • 40 hours/week daytime schedule.
