Who are we?

On a daily basis you will have to:

  • Act as administrator of subcontracts and service contracts for the project.
  • Be responsible for the execution of all tasks expected of a site contract administrator, for the contracts entrusted to you, including in particular:
  • Holding site coordination meetings
  • Validating and preparing progressive statements and payment requests
  • Managing communications between the company and subcontractors
  • Managing financial guarantees and insurance
  • Be responsible for managing changes related to the contracts entrusted to you, including preparing reports and approving project requirements
  • Act as advisor and expert in procurement and subcontracting management.
  • Validate, negotiate, and limit additions of work to the initial contract.
  • On behalf of the client, interpret contractual clauses and take the necessary measures to enforce them.
  • Negotiate credits and supplements based on work revisions and issue necessary purchase request revisions.
  • Negotiate various claims following non-conformities.

Requirements:

  • Training in procurement or administration and practical knowledge of the legal and commercial aspects of procurement. Diploma of College Studies and a minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
  • Knowledge of procurement terms and conditions (Incoterms) and relevant laws.
  • Fluency in French and English required occasionally since the person will collaborate with colleagues and clients outside of Quebec, both written and oral.
  • Mobility.

  • Ability to manage multiple files simultaneously and report the results.
  • Ability to work within tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of the industrial environment (petrochemicals, mining and metals, etc.) (asset).
  • Experience in procurement management (asset).
  • Professional Association: AGCA, PMI (asset).
